Teena Embaugh of SEND International helps us understand the challenges missionary kids can face as they navigate the transition to college, university, or a career path in their parents' passport country. Teena and Mags discuss several practical ways for churches to support and care for missionary kids who are starting a new phase of life in another culture.What do you think of this episode?
Teena Embaugh was born in Ohio but spent most of her childhood in Indonesia where her parents were mission workers. She returned to the U.S. for college where she completed her nursing and Bible training. Teena joined SEND International in 1998 and served in Macedonia on a church planting team before becoming SEND’s MK Care Coordinator in 2008. Teena loves equipping and supporting missionary families as they follow the Lord’s calling in their lives.
