Dr. Anna Hampton, author of “Facing Danger: A Guide Through Risk“, lived and worked for almost a decade with her family in war-torn Afghanistan, and for over twenty-six years in another part of the Middle East. Anna writes from her own experience of facing overwhelming obstacles while living in extremist environments, while raising three children. Anna blogs at “Behind the Veil: A Public Journal of a Hidden Life” and is a Bible teacher and conference speaker. Together with her husband Neal, Anna serves with Barnabas International where they shepherd cross-cultural workers in closed countries.
