In today's bonus episode, your podcast host, Rob Magwood, along with Maddy Postma introduce you to the Global Missions Toolbox, an online collection of resources for Senders. This conversation describes the vision for the Toolbox and identifies some of the tools that are available now for Pastors, Missions Committee Members, and the Family and Friends of mission workers.What do you think of this episode?
Rob, also known to his friends as “Mags”, was raised near Edmonton, AB. He met Kathleen Hayes during his studies at Briercrest Bible College, and they were married in 1992. God has blessed the Magwoods with three fantastic kids. Mags and Kathleen first served together on a short-term mission team to the Philippines. In 1996 they moved to Ukraine and Russia to participate in church planting, theological education, and agency administration. Mags has served as Canadian Director of SEND International since 2004.
Maddy Postma is the Project Assistant at SEND Canada, where developing the Global Missions Toolbox has been one of her main priorities. Maddy lives in London, Ontario, where she previously worked and now serves in her local church. Maddy graduated from Athabasca University where she studied Business Management. She enjoys reading, road trips, hiking, camping, and a good cup of coffee.
