Rob “Mags” Magwood gives us a tour behind the scenes of the Global Missions Podcast. Mags chats with guest host Amy Walters about why the podcast was created, how it is produced, and what’s in store for Season 4.

Rob “Mags” Magwood was raised near Edmonton, Alberta. He met Kathleen during his studies at Briercrest Bible College and they were married in 1992. God has blessed the Magwoods with three kids. Mags and Kathleen first served together on a short-term mission team to the Philippines. In 1996 they moved to Ukraine and Russia as mission workers. Mags is the Canadian Director of SEND International and host of the Global Missions Podcast.

Amy Walters, guest host for today’s episode, currently serves as the Media Director for SEND International of the United States. She grew up in Central Illinois, and has had a passion for missions for as long as she can remember. Amy earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in linguistics, and currently lives in Michigan with her husband and two kids.
